Wanstor joins the Southwark Climate Collective

Wanstor are proud to be part of the Southwark Climate Collective – an initiative by Better Bankside funded by the Mayor of London to help local businesses with a plan to reduce carbon emissions.

The comprehensive plan will audit Wanstor’s carbon emissions, provide us with recommendations to reduce emissions across four key areas in the business, and track our progress over 12 months.

This is a part of Wanstor’s wider sustainability strategy, where we’ve worked with Earthly to become a Carbon Positive Business.

Our Carbon audit with Earthly earlier in the year highlighted areas for improvement (reduction in carbon emissions) across the business and a strategy to offset these emissions. We’re building on the learning from this audit to reduce carbon emissions from Freight, which was identified as one of the largest sources of carbon emissions.
